The Fourcasters at the University of Chicago have once again worked tirelessly to repair the SPORE device following the shutdown that occurred after the final transmission and SPORE activation in World 2. The Fourcasters determined that the device would be fit to re-enable the connection on August 26 and this is in fact the case.

In this alternate 2049 timeline, the Anchor is named Darling and inhabits the bunker alongside a second AI entity known as “Tarry.” Together, they attempt to remain hidden from the Veilers: agents of the totalitarian regime in power in this world. They engage in Tarry’s calibration, for which 2019’s participation is crucial. These efforts promise to eventually grant access to the SPORE drive. TERI’s messages (again encompassing the totality of the viewer chat from 2019) appear in TERI’s blue script. No timer or date are initially apparent in this world.
